Why volunteer with the Epilepsy Foundation?

You’ll have fun. Meet new people. Help and mentor others. Support people and families impacted by Epilepsy.

When you volunteer, You’ll be helping Epilepsy Foundation raise vital funds to:

• create personalised Epilepsy Management and Emergency Medication Plans that are constantly updated to suit changing situations • education and training for family members including extended family such as aunts, uncles and grandparents, along with friends • training for schools to become epilepsy aware so teachers know what to do when a student has a seizure in class or in the playground • a sounding board in the Epilepsy Support team who understand the impact epilepsy can have on a person or family.

What does a typical day look like?

In your 5-hour shift (or more if you like) you can be doing any of tasks like: • Engaging with customers • Scheduling deliveries and collections • Rubbish runs • Communicating with the shop teams • Supporting the Regional Sales Manager

What skills do you need? • Driving skills • Friendly and positive attitude • Happy to work as part of a team • Flexible
