SteamRanger Heritage Railway maintains and operates a number of different heritage steam and diesel hauled tourist trains between Mt Barker in the Adelaide Hills, up over the crest of the southern Mt Lofty Ranges, down to Strathalbyn and on through the coastal holiday towns of Goolwa and Port Elliot to the tourist resort town of Victor Harbor.
Would you like to help with preserving history by being part of our team helping to restore the interior and exterior of the magnificent heritage passenger carriages at the Mount Barker Depot?
The role involves a range of hand skills, including carpentry, steel fabrication and painting.
Ideally, we would love for you to commit to at least one day per fortnight.
Volunteering with SteamRanger is a rewarding, and exciting experience, and is open to people from all walks of life.
