Sight Guide Volunteers

Beyond Blindness is seeking volunteers to assist & guide our members who are blind or have low vision while they are out and about.

As a Sight Guide Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to improve the quality of life of our members who might be socially isolated or just looking for another adventure to fill the diary for the week.

The outings are relaxed and social in nature, where you might chat together, reminiscing and swapping stories. Outings include activities such as park and garden strolls, visits to museums, galleries, local pubs and shopping centres.

If you like to have some fun and help others, this could be the niche you have been looking for.

We are hoping this will be an enjoyable experience for volunteers as well as our members.

This role may not have regular weekly hours.
