Volunteering Social Support and Activity Assistant (Chinese speaker)

Uniting Abrina age care home is seeking energetic volunteers to provide activity and social support for our lovely residence.

We are seeking volunteers who can:

• Chinese speaker

• Provide companionship support to residence

• Help motivate and engage residence in different activities

• Assist staff with bus trips

• Support staff with the running of different activities

Our age care home provides a number of activities for residence to participate in, which include:

• Ball games

• Beauty and nail therapy

• Hairdresser

• Happy hour

• Sing-a-long

• Movie hour

• Bingo

• Cooking

• Crafts

• Gardening

• Exercising
