Volunteer Poultry Manager

We are looking for a volunteer to manage our small poultry section, reorganise existing infrastructure and implement a new automated system to facilitate poultry care. • Create a roster of volunteers to provide appropriate care of poultry. • Supervise new system and implement changes as required. • We have an established area and will be installing automated infrastructure.
Funds are available to acquire equipment and stock. • We will help you build a roster of volunteers to share the ongoing workload. • Hours are negotiable. • We are open to the public from Thursdays to Sundays 9am to 3pm.
We enjoy a very friendly, cooperative working culture, with live animal exhibits, information on living sustainably, plus an excellent tool shed and a steady supply of tea, coffee, biscuits, cake, other goodies, chat and celebratory Volunteer lunches.
