Words on Wheels Driver (Melbourne - Albury)

ROOP (Reading out of Poverty), a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to transforming children’s lives through the power of literacy. We work with community-focused organisations to deliver free literacy packs, pop-up libraries and Christmas gifts to children aged 0–5 from disadvantaged backgrounds, supporting early learning, parent engagement and lifelong opportunity.

The 'Words on Wheels' Driver will be delivering 200-250 Literacy Packs to sites in Albury and Wodonga where they will be distributed to disadvantaged babies and new Mums on a local basis to enable them to commence reading from birth. You will be required to assist loading and unloading boxes from your vehicle weighing up to 12kg.
