Main responsibilities:

Performing garden work including mowing lawns, pruning, weeding, laying mulch, maintaining edging and paved areas, sweeping and raking leaves, watering pots, cleaning garden furniture/ water features, and occasionally creating new plantings.

Training:

  • Induction and familiarisation visit with the property and staff

  • Guidance on the conservation policies for the property and what this means for gardening works

  • Training in Safe Work procedures for works at the property

  • Ongoing support from staff and fellow volunteers
