Volunteer Responsibilities:

Assisting with cleaning designated objects using proper conservation cleaning techniques

Inspecting and measuring environmental conditions inside the property and in exhibition spaces

Monitoring and recording object condition

Moving objects as necessary and documenting location changes
Training

Induction and familiarisation visit with the property and staff

Full training in basic conservation cleaning techniques

On-the-job training in conservation cleaning, object handling and basic collection management
