Come and volunteer with Garden Care!

Who?
Canterbury City Community Centre's Garden Care Team works on gardens with the goal of low maintenance, safety and access. We lend a hand so that older people can keep living independently at home.

How?
Our experienced teams visit homes to garden every weekday morning. They will help and guide you with weeding, mulching, pruning and making the garden safe, accessible and tidy.

When?

Teams start work from 9 am and finish at 12pm Monday to Friday. If you're free on a weekday morning, come and join us!

Where?

We work in Gardens across the Inner West and Canterbury Bankstown local government areas

Who/When can I volunteer?

All skill levels are welcome! If you're reliable, available and interested in gardening, we would love to have you join us and commit to at least once a week/fortnight/month.

* Planning public transport/cycling/driving to a different garden each week is a must: we can reimburse for travel!
