A friendly community aged client is looking forward to volunteer visits and would love to share her passion for crocheting and knitting 🧶🪡 She has several unfinished projects and would really enjoy some gentle help and companionship to work through them together while having a chat ☕ Your time and encouragement could help turn half-finished pieces into something special and bring meaningful connection along the way 💛

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the clients you are matched with.

HammondCare

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of the clients cared for by HammondCare.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
