The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of BASSCARE.
Make a Difference with Meals on Wheels! Join our team and help support older community members by delivering nutritious meals, offering a friendly chat, and reducing isolation—helping them remain independent in their own homes.
What You'll Do:
- Deliver meals with a warm smile and friendly conversation
- Use your own insured vehicle
- Use your own mobile phone to stay connected with the office if needed
- Pick up meals from Kew between 9:30 AM – 10:00 AM
- Commit to 1.5 to 2 hours per shift, returning to Kew at the end of your route
What We're Looking For:
- Comfortable driving in the local area (maps provided!)
- Enjoy meeting new people and making a difference
- Show respect, empathy, and care for others
