Little Things for Tiny Tots is a Western Australian charity based in Perth, powered by volunteers. We are seeking a new volunteer to assist us as our Recruitment & HR Officer.

About Us

We distribute new and pre-loved essential baby items to WA families in need. We provide a box of “little things” to assist families to care for their newborn with items such as clothing, blankets, nappies, wipes, toys and books. Our volunteers collect and package donations into New Baby Boxes which are distributed via existing support services and government agencies.

About the Role

We’re seeking a Perth based volunteer to fill the position of Recruitment & HR Officer. This is an ongoing position and would require at least a 12-month commitment.

Do you have HR skills that will help you shine in this role? This is an exciting and varied role, your responsibilities are below and not limited to;

Recruitment: -Post, update and remove job ads on job boards.

-Screen resume and applications.

-Prepare interview questions and ensure relevant to specific positions.

-Schedule interviews

On-Boarding: -Ensure the on-boarding experience of new volunteers is consistently followed, and volunteers are inducted and oriented appropriately.

-Prepare and issue engagement letters for volunteers and obtain references (if required).

-Update our database / provide relevant committee members with new hire information (e.g.engagement letter/ contact information etc.)

About You - You don't need to meet every criteria to apply!

-Degree qualification ideally in a HR related discipline or working related experience in the HR field

-Demonstrable interest in recruitment.

-Previous experience within a HR or recruitment team would be highly regarded.

-Exceptionally well organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks appropriately to meet deadlines.

-High level focus on quality and attention to detail.

-Strong computer skills particularly in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

-Strong communication and organisational skills.

-Personal commitment to the mission of Little Things.

-Based in metropolitan Perth.

Working Conditions

-This is a remote role, you can work from home.

-The time commitment is approximately 5-10 hours a month.

-You will need to supply your own computer/laptop, internet connection and phone.

This position is available immediately and the role will be shared with another volunteer so you can tackle work together!
