Board Member

This role offers the opportunity to make a genuine impact, implement fresh ideas and initiatives outside the box; strengthening how The Outpost connects with the community, supporters, partners and those we serve. We are seeking a like-minded person to join us who has an interest in offering;

• Ideas to better support the homeless and food insecure
• Skills across a diverse range welcomed - Marketing, HR and Training, Stakeholder Management, Legal, Impact, Food and Nutrition, Grant Writing, Logistics, or perhaps something additional within your remit
• A passion to contribute to ensuring that those in need receive dignity and choice through the food The Outpost provides.

Experience on a Board is not essential, it’s all about leaning in to use your experience to support those we serve in our community, sharing wisdom, communication, a can do attitude and a willingness to deliver strong governance as a collective.

An interest in community impact, social services, and long-term sustainability is essential. At The Outpost, every decision is measured by the cost to produce a meal — currently $3.07 per meal — ensuring every contribution has real impact.
