Board Member – Marketing & Communications

Key Responsibilities
The Marketing Board Member provides operational and strategic oversight and guidance on The Outposts marketing, branding, and communications to enhance visibility, engagement, and growth in alignment with the mission and values – Yummy Food, Awesome People, Homely Vibes.
• Provide strategic marketing and communications guidance
• Support community engagement, brand awareness and fundraising promotion
• Guide social media, digital presence and promotional campaigns
• Contribute to grant promotion, donor communication and stakeholder engagement
• Fresh and innovative out of the box thinking and willing to try something new – if you can dream it we can achieve it.
• Vision campaign planning, messaging and public-facing communications
• Advise on Public Relations and community engagement
• Ownership of the annual report and statistical communications
• Contributions required into all topics across board strategy including governance, events, financial etc.
• Help ensure messaging reflects dignity, respect and choice for those we serve
Experience on a Board is not essential — we value practical experience, creative thinking, local passion, collaboration and a willingness to lean in and contribute.
