Aged Care Volunteer Visitor

FNQ Volunteers Inc is seeking an Aged Care Volunteer Visitor through the ACVVS program.

We’re seeking a Volunteer Visitor - Dementia Support - to provide companionship to an older person living with dementia and offer much‑needed support to the family members who care for them every day. Visits may take place either in the person’s own home or within a residential aged care facility, depending on their circumstances.

Visits take place once a week or once a fortnight, and volunteers must be 18 years or older. Reliability, flexibility, and a genuine commitment to showing up for someone are essential, along with completing our orientation and required training.
