🌼 Purpose of the role Support the day‑to‑day operation of the Busselton Hospital Gift Shop by assisting customers, processing sales, and helping maintain a welcoming, well‑organised retail space. Funds raised support the work of Busselton Hospice Care. 🛍️ Key tasks • Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service • Operate point‑of‑sale software to process purchases (training provided) • Restock shelves and keep displays tidy • Handle basic cash handling and end‑of‑shift tasks • Maintain a clean and organised shop environment • Work as part of a small volunteer team 💡 Skills and experience • Retail or customer service experience is helpful but not essential • Comfortable using (or learning) point‑of‑sale software • Good communication and willingness to assist customers • Reliable, organised, and able to work independently when needed 🌟 Benefits • Contribute to a valued community service • Meet new people and build confidence in a supportive environment • Gain or refresh retail and customer service skills
