🎵 Singing Group Volunteer (Aged Care) Purpose of the Role To lead a simple, enjoyable singing session for residents in an aged care facility, helping create connection, enjoyment, and a positive atmosphere through music.
Key Tasks 🎤 Lead a small group in relaxed sing‑along sessions
🎶 Choose familiar, easy songs suited to older adults (knowledge of popular singalong tunes)
🤗 Encourage participation in a gentle, inclusive way
👋 Build rapport with residents and staff
⏱️ Arrive on time and assist with simple setup and pack‑down
Training & Support 🏠 Orientation to the facility and residents
