What You’ll Do: • Help older people stay active and connected in their community. HammondCare is seeking a friendly, reliable Volunteer Bus Driver to transport residents to local outings and activities. Make a meaningful difference while enjoying great company and giving back. Walk alongside residents, clients, or patients in a supportive and friendly way, encouraging movement and engagement with their surroundings. • Assist with gentle outdoor exercises such as tai chi, chair exercises, or light stretches under the guidance of allied health staff. • Foster social connections and conversations that enrich both your life and the lives of those you meet. • Provide feedback to the Volunteer Coordinator or care staff about activities, sharing observations and suggestions. • Help identify safety concerns or hazards and report them promptly to ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for all.
