For over 70 years Bethanie has been warmly welcoming older West Australians into a caring and personal environment. Our Bethanie community is enriched by the generous support of our caring volunteers.
Our vibrant Social Centre in Port Kennedy helps enable our clients to remain at home by providing a valuable social and therapy well-being service, with a focus on quality of life.
Who we are looking for:
- someone who is friendly and out-going with good communication and listening skills
- comfortable engaging with older males and their interests
- reliable with a genuine desire to make a difference
About the role:
- offer one-on-one companionship or small-group companionship
- engage in social activities such as playing cards, board games or puzzles
- accompany residents on outings to Bunnings
- support participation in Centre programs
