⭐ Volunteer Role Volunteering with EdConnect Australia is a meaningful and deeply rewarding way to support young people in your community. Our volunteers assist students throughout the school year in a variety of ways. People of all ages and backgrounds bring their skills, life experience and friendly presence into local schools, enriching students’ lives and often providing stability, encouragement and a trusted adult connection that some young people may be missing. EdConnect offers two volunteer roles: • Learning Support, where volunteers assist in the classroom with reading, numeracy and general learning activities • Mentoring, where volunteers build a one‑on‑one, supportive relationship with a student who may benefit from extra encouragement and connection Both roles help boost students’ confidence, wellbeing and sense of belonging, and EdConnect provides the structure and support to match volunteers with students who will benefit most.

🎓 Training and Ongoing Support EdConnect ensures every volunteer feels prepared, confident and supported. Before you begin, you’ll receive training tailored to your chosen role. Throughout your volunteering journey, our team stays connected with you to make sure your experience is positive, impactful and memorable.
