We are seeking caring and reliable volunteers who believe in the value of older people and want to support those who are socially isolated through regular companionship. We are seeking friendly and reliable Volunteer Activity Helpers to support older people who may be socially isolated. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with groups, bringing creativity to activities, and helping others feel welcome and included. About the role As a Volunteer Activity Helper at our Mornington AgeWell Centre, you’ll support and facilitate a range of engaging group activities in a warm, social environment, such as:

  • Facilitating games such as Scrabble or puzzles

  • Leading sing‑alongs or creative arts and craft activities

  • Supporting group conversations and shared experiences

  • Helping bring everyone together for a shared lunch

  • Joining group walks or outings to local museums, movies, or other community destinations
