Knox Repair Cafe is seeking an Electrical Repairer to join the team

We offer a variety of repair services for garden and household items such as clothing, appliances, electronics and furniture. Our skilled repairers are passionate about fixing broken items and giving them a new lease of life, instead of throwing them away and contributing to the growing problem of waste and environmental damage.

We are looking for a qualified or retired electrician that can assist with repairing broken electrical items. If you are able to test and tag, that's a bonus but not required.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Follow the policies and procedures of Knox Repair Cafe
• Follow the direction of the Operations Manager
• Work within a small group of like-minded volunteers with various areas of expertise
• Chat with members of the public about repairs/maintenance to educate and inform
• Be able to communicate respectfully with members of the public about the repairs you undertake.
