Can you offer friendship and companionship to isolated seniors? Do you have a passion to helping others?
MercyCare is seeking dedicated volunteers to become Social Wellbeing Volunteers to connect and support residents to enjoy the group activity of Happy Hour at our residential aged care home in Wembley on Friday afternoon’s from 2:00pm. As a Social Wellbeing Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to:
- Make a positive difference in the lives of seniors and your community.
- Spend quality time and build meaningful relationships with residents.
- Enhance the quality of life for our residents by helping reduce loneliness and isolation.
- Become a valuable member of our team with ongoing support throughout your volunteer journey.
