Gardening and Maintenance Volunteer

Your support helps reduce stress for guests and their families by ensuring the lodge remains a well maintained and well-functioning space during a challenging time. Whether you're tightening a loose tap or helping prepare a room, your contribution will be deeply valued.
Key Duties
- Perform light maintenance tasks (e.g. fixing door handles, replacing light bulbs at a low level, minor repairs, minor painting)
- Assist with general upkeep of lodge facilities (gardening, cleaning shared areas, checking amenities)
- Support staff with practical lodge needs (e.g. preparing rooms, restocking supplies)
- Identify and report any safety or maintenance concerns
- Help create a warm and supportive environment for guests and families
Skills and Experience Needed
- Basic handyman or maintenance skills (no formal qualifications required)
- Ability to work independently and safely with tools and equipment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability and a compassionate attitude
- Experience in property maintenance or volunteering is a bonus, but not essential
