For over 70 years Bethanie has been warmly welcoming older West Australians into a caring and personal environment. Our Bethanie community is enriched by the generous support of our caring volunteers.
Who we are looking for:
- compassionate, patient and reliable volunteers to provide invaluable social support to our residents at Bethanie Fields in Eaton
- volunteers who are interested in the following:
- Military History - for residents who once served or have strong ties to military like, your interest in history, service or memorabilia will help keep their stories alive.
- Nursing and Caring - If you have a background in nursing or simply a passion for caregiving, your understanding presence will offer connection to our residents who have spent their life caring for others.
- animals and Nature - many of our residents light up when talking about their pets, so if you love animals or nature, this is a wonderful opportunity for heartfelt conversations.
About the role:

- you will be matched with a resident who enjoys conversations and activities related to specific topics
- visits may be spent talking or sharing in a simple leisure activity together.
