Junior Physiotherapist / Sports Trainer
The Role
Join our rugby operations team as a Junior Physiotherapist / Sports Trainer. This role is a brilliant opportunity for a student or early-career professional to gain practical, "on-the-tools" experience in a fast-paced sporting environment. Reporting to the VP Rugby Operations and mentored by our Senior Physiotherapist, you will be a key part of our player welfare strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Match Day Support: Provide pitch-side medical coverage, including acute injury assessment and management.
- Clinical Care: Deliver pre-game strapping, taping, and assisted warm-ups.
- Rehabilitation: Assist in the treatment and rehab of injuries during training nights.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, basic treatment records and injury logs.
- Operations: Ensure medical kits are restocked and prepared for all fixtures.
- Communication: Liaise with the Senior Physio and coaching staff regarding player fitness and "Return to Play" status.

Requirements:
- We are looking for someone proactive, eager to learn, and passionate about sports medicine. Reliability on match days is essential.
- Must be currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Physiotherapy degree.
- Basic knowledge of taping and acute injury assessment is preferred but not essential for the right candidate.
- Provide First Aid (1-day certificate) is essential.
