Marketing Volunteer (video & multimedia)
- Composing and delivering innovative multimedia content (including videos/reels)
- Represent the charity mission, values, and ethos within the community
- Share the charity’s story and impact with the wider community through conversations and presentations
- Support the development and maintain strong and positive professional relationships with team members, volunteers, beneficiaries, and all stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to increase brand awareness, donor engagement, and sponsor visibility
- Assist in planning and delivering initiatives that increase awareness and engagement with our mission
- Support the planning, promotion, and execution of charity events
- Research opportunities for media coverage and community outreach
- Assist in preparing marketing materials and campaigns
- Develop engaging content, copy, visuals, and video content that reflects the charity’s voice and values
- Monitor, develop and maintain brand consistency ensuring brand identity is consistent across all communication channels
- Collect and share impact stories from beneficiaries and supporters
- Create and schedule engaging content for social media, newsletters, and campaigns
- Liaise with community partners, sponsors, and volunteers to build meaningful relationships
- Be responsible for efficiency and implement new initiatives to enhance charity
- Lead by example and take pride in your personal presentation; ensuring your demeanour, body language and tone of voice embody the high standard of performance expected of the Team.
- Assist team with other admin office duties that may include diary organisation, organisation of files
- Monitoring social media platforms and other marketing campaign sites to provide analysis and reports on effectiveness
- Provide feedback, contribute ideas and provide support to management to enhance team and charity effectiveness
- Work closely with Business With A Heart Ltd Managers to deliver a seamless operation
- Attend events and assist with set-up, pack-down and other event jobs
- Research opportunities for media coverage and community outreach
- Assist with tracking, analysing, and reporting on campaign and social media performance
- Perform ad-hoc Tasks that assist in building charity awareness and productivity
Your Experience
- experience with video software such as CapCut, Canvas, iMovie, Adobe Premier or similar (preferred, if not held, an interest and willingness to learn is required)
- An excellent knowledge of workplace health and safety
- An excellent knowledge of diverse social media platforms (E.G. Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram)
- Working with a diverse range of cultures and ethnicities
- Demonstrated experience in a not-for-profit or charity environment
- Strong Performance Management skills and employee engagement strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiasm for community engagement and making a positive difference
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently as well as in a team
- Worked in a professional, fast paced environment
- Demonstrated experience in motivating and inspiring teams to deliver unprecedented levels of safety and service
