Logo for Communicare Group Ltd

Our Emergency Assistance Program provides a safety net for vulnerable West Australians experiencing immediate or imminent financial hardship and who have limited means or resources to help them alleviate their financial crisis.

Individuals and families experiencing financial difficulties may be able to access emergency assistance with basic necessities such as food, clothing, fuel, transport and referrals to other support services. Our volunteers generously donate their time to aid the delivery of our essential community services and support the needs of our clients.

We are seeking volunteers to join our Emergency Assistance phone hub on Mondays between 9am and 11am. You will assist clients seeking immediate assistance over the phone and scheduling appointments.

This role would suit someone with a background in counselling or social work who is resilient and empathetic.

Our Emergency Assistance Phone Hub from our Head Office in Cannington.
