Education Support Program Volunteer – The Eagles Sports Association (recruited in partnership with Vinnies)

This volunteer role is part of a partnership between The Eagles Sports Association and St Vincent de Paul Society Canberra/Goulburn (Vinnies).

• Vinnies supports The Eagles by assisting with the recruitment and screening of volunteers for their community programs.
• Volunteers will be recruited and screened by Vinnies, including WWVP verification, interviews and referee checks, before joining The Eagles’ team.
• As part of this process, Vinnies will share relevant application and screening information with The Eagles to support final placement.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

• Support children and young people through tutoring, mentoring and engaging educational activities.
• Assist with the delivery of activities tailored to different age groups and learning needs, with a focus on literacy, numeracy and STEM.
• Help build confidence, encourage teamwork and foster a positive love of learning.
