Trishaw Pilot

Cycling Without Age - Mt Barker

Advertised by Albany & Regional Volunteer Service Incorporated

Love riding your bike? Want to give back to the community?

Join Cycling Without Age in Mount Barker and help provide free rides to people who are unable to cycle for themselves, using specially designed electric-assist trishaws. As a volunteer pilot, you’ll pedal along predetermined routes around town, sharing fresh air, conversation, and plenty of smiles along the way.

They are currently seeking volunteer pilots who enjoy the outdoors and making a meaningful difference. A minimum commitment of two hours per month is required.

Two training sessions will be conducted to ensure volunteers feel confident and familiar with operating the trishaws. This opportunity is particularly well suited to retirees, and some experience riding a pushbike would be an advantage.
