Advertised by Volunteer South West Incorporated

What you will be doing

  • Monitoring stock levels of brochures, maps, merchandise and display items.
  • Restocking shelves, brochure stands and information racks throughout the Visitor Centre.
  • Keeping storage areas neat, labelled and easy for staff to access.
  • Assisting with unpacking deliveries and organising new materials.
  • Rotating stock so the most up-to-date information is always available.
  • Alerting staff when supplies are running low or when new stock needs to be ordered.
  • Helping maintain a clean, welcoming and well presented visitor environment.

Why it matters

Visitors rely on clear, accessible information to plan their experience. When brochures are topped up, merchandise is displayed neatly and materials are easy to find, it improves the entire visitor journey. Your work ensures the centre operates efficiently, supports staff during busy times and helps showcase the region in the best possible light.

The best bit?

You get the satisfaction of being the quiet hero behind a smooth, organised space. There is something genuinely rewarding about turning a messy shelf into a tidy display or knowing that a family found the perfect map because you made sure it was there. It is a role for someone who loves order, rhythm and the feeling of making a real difference without needing to be front and centre.
