Bring Adventure and Connection: Volunteer for Beachy Bus Outings on Tuesdays! Do you enjoy the wind in your hair and the sand between your toes? Our residents at St Vincent's Care Maroochydore are looking for a kind, compassionate, and energetic volunteer to accompany them on their outings every Tuesday. You'll accompany them on the bus to the beach and sit with the residents on a 'Trishaw' as they are taken on a gentle cycle along the coast to get some fresh sea air. Powered by 'Cycling Without Age', this program is a special outing to be a part of!

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with bus outings to Cycling Without Age
• Help ensure residents are safely onboard the bus and have a great experience
• Support residents during Cycling Without Age outing, making sure they are comfortable and engaged
• Foster a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the trip
• No cycling required! Sit back, relax, and feel the wind through your hair!

Why Volunteer? Bus outings are a wonderful way to combat loneliness and provide enriching experiences for elderly residents. By volunteering each week, you'll help create memorable adventures that enhance their well-being and bring joy to their lives.

Program Details:

• Commitment: Our Bus Outings to Cycling Without Age run every Tuesday - you must be able to commit to attending on a weekly basis
• Requirements: Must be over 18, be willing to undergo a NDIS (provided and paid for)

• Individuals with good communication skills and a friendly demeanor
• Reliable and punctual volunteers who can create a positive and engaging environment
