Grants Coordinator

Successful partnerships are built on a foundation of mutual understanding, transparency, trust, and respect. Our Grants Coordinator will work with our partnerships team to secure funding to help sustain our operations. Although this is an unpaid position, you’ll have the opportunity to make meaningful connections and make a significant difference in our community.

TEDxPerth is a not-for-profit organisation committed to bringing people together to share thought-provoking and inspiring ideas born from the remarkable people of our community here in Western Australia. Our locally organised program of events shines the spotlight on our great city of Perth connecting us with the global stage of communication, innovation and world activities. Our amazing core team consists of passionate and committed volunteers who believe that sharing ideas can really make a difference.

About the role:

As Grants Coordiantor, you will:

• Identify organisations that align with TEDxPerth’ s objectives and values.
• Engage with a diverse range of organisations that offer grants.
• Prepare strong grant applications.
• Track submitted and successful applications - including follow up on grant deliverables and acquittals.

Key responsibilities:

• Sponsorship Sales: Lead the charge in securing sponsorships for TEDxPerth.
• Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong, lasting partnerships with organisations offering grants.
• Grant Applications: Craft strong grant applications that provide for a high chance of successful applications.
• Brand Representation: Act as an ambassador for TEDxPerth in all professional interactions.

Requirements:

• Experience in grant preparation and management is advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong administration skills.
