Chip Packet Project Volunteer

The Volunteers Hub is advertising this role on behalf of the Chip Packet Project Melbourne. Do you want to save the planet and eat chips at the same time? Chip Packet Project Melbourne (CPPM) needs you! We are looking for volunteers to help us, you can do this by attending our weekly Foil Fusion Workshops and help make a survival blanket just by using chip packets, an iron, baking paper and wooden chopping board (materials supplied) or just simply spending some of your time cleaning and preparing foil for us. We’re taking rubbish that will take at least 80 years to decompose in landfill and turning it into a valuable resource. Individuals from all different walks of life, gather together at Fusion events to make and create items with foil, which in turn helps combats loneliness and gives life purpose – sensational!
