Retail Volunteer
St Vincent De Paul Society Queensland supported by Volunteering Queensland
As a retail volunteer, you will play a central role in the operations of the shop, making a significant and valuable contribution to the St Vincent de Paul Society.
Our retail volunteers perform a variety of tasks including:
- Providing customer with an excellent shopping experience
- Sorting and pricing donations
- Assisting with product displays
- Processing sales through the point-of-sale cash register
The volunteers we are seeking for this new role will ideally:
- Demonstrate a friendly, positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and to be part of a team
- Demonstrate genuine respect for all people regardless of their situation
- Have an understanding of and commitment to the philosophy of the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland and an ability to work in accordance with policies and procedures to promote the values and mission of the Society.
Volunteers do not require previous experience as valuable on-the-job training is provided.
