Bingo is a weekly favourite at Cooper House Residential Aged Care Community, bringing plenty of laughs and friendly competition. As a volunteer, you will be assisting to keep the game running smoothly by calling the numbers, offering support where needed, and making sure everyone feels included.

These activities assist residents with socialising, promoting a sense of well-being and encouraging community connectedness. Most importantly they bring joy and create smiles!

The Bingo Volunteer can help residents by:

  • Helping set up Bingo tables, boards and markers.
  • Inviting and welcoming residents to the lounge.
  • Supporting residents during the game, including those who may need a little extra guidance or assistance.
  • Calling the Bingo numbers and keep the session running smoothly.
  • Assisting with packing up at the end of the activity.
  • Communicating resident feedback to staff to assist in improving both the activity and resident enjoyment.
