Conservation Volunteers Australia and the Kanmantoo-Callington Landcare Group welcome you to a fun day out planting as part of the 'Greening the Bremer' Project! Over 8km of the Bremer River is being revegetated to create a habitat corridor for local birds, mammals, reptiles and insects. We'll be contributing to this project by planting 300 shrub and tree seedlings. Enjoy a homemade pumpkin soup lunch after your hard work.

What will I be doing on the day? All of our events begin with a safety induction and training from a CVA Team Leader.

As part of the day, you will work under the supervision of our friendly team to plant seedlings. Enjoy lunch after your hard work.

What skills or experience do I need? No prior experience is necessary! Our Team Leaders will provide volunteers with safety inductions and training in the activity.

All are welcome - our events are suitable for most age groups. Children aged 3-14 must be directly supervised by a parent or legal guardian.

A FEW THINGS TO REMEMBER:

  • Once you send through your application via Seek, we will be in touch with registration details. Spaces are limited, and they do fill up!

  • No previous experience is required.

  • You need to make your own way to and from the project site.
