Social Support & Activities Volunteers

Responsibilities: ·         Provide support to the Therapy Assistants with activities and excursions (one or two days per week) ·         Provide companionship and social support ·         Ensure a safe, nurturing and respectful environment at all times   What we are looking for: ·         Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with the resident/s ·         Provide empathy and understanding, demonstrating a caring approach and willingness to support the residents' needs and requirements ·         A current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain one) ·         Be punctual and reliable ·         Be willing to undertake some online training, as introduced with the New Aged Care Act in November 2025
