Social Media & Marketing Volunteer

The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this opportunity on behalf of Kew Neighbourhood Learning Centre (KNLC).

Responsibilities:

• Create engaging social media content to promote programs, events, and community activities
• Schedule and publish posts across social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram
• Assist with simple graphic design and visual content using tools such as Canva
• Help gather stories, photos, and testimonials that showcase community impact
• Support the promotion of events, volunteer opportunities, and community initiatives

Qualifications:

• Interest in social media, marketing, or communications
• Creative and enthusiastic about storytelling and community engagement
• Good written communication skills
• Basic knowledge of social media platforms
• Organised and reliable
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and contribute new ideas
