Homework Heroes Wanted!

Become part of a supportive and vibrant team at the Homework Help Club, held at Hyphen Library Gallery in Wodonga. This program supports young learners who are settling into life and education in Australia, helping them feel confident and capable in their studies.

As a volunteer, you’ll play an important role in creating a positive and encouraging learning environment. Your role will include:

• Supporting students with their homework in a relaxed and friendly setting
• Working one-on-one or in small groups to guide learning
• Encouraging confidence through positive reinforcement and patience
• Helping students develop study habits, problem-solving skills, and independence
• Assisting with setting up and supporting learning activities
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space for all learners
• Being a reliable and supportive team member alongside staff and other volunteers

With just one hour a week during school term, you can make a meaningful impact in a child’s life, while gaining valuable experience and being part of a connected community.
