General Duties – Activities Volunteer The role of the Activities Volunteer • Conduct and actively participate in a range of individual and group activities that support clients’ wellbeing, independence and social engagement. • Assist in assessing activity programs to ensure they are structured, inclusive and aligned with goal-oriented outcomes for clients. • Prepare and serve morning tea in accordance with organisational guidelines and safe food handling practices. • Maintain activity areas in a clean, organised and safe manner, adhering to infection prevention and control procedures at all times. • Represent Everglow in a professional manner at relevant professional networks and community events and assist in the planning and delivery of activities such as Seniors’ Week and other community initiatives. • Communicate respectfully and professionally with supervisors, colleagues, Personal Care Workers, clients and their families maintaining appropriate boundaries and ethical conduct in line with the Code of Conduct. • Provide regular updates, observations and feedback to the Activities Coordinator regarding client participation, engagement and any concerns. • Observe and comply with all Everglow Policies and Procedures at all times. • Adhere to the organisation’s Code of Conduct and uphold Everglow’s values and standards in all interactions.
