Event Day Volunteering is a great way to give back in your community and help Cancer Council raise awareness and funds to support cancer research.
Relay For Life is a community fundraising event recognising and celebrating local cancer survivors, those going through a cancer experience, carers, and also remembers loved ones.

About the role
Relay For Life event volunteers are crucial in assisting the success of community events with Cancer Council NSW. With hundreds of participants, we have a number of volunteer roles available. There are roles to suit all skill levels and event experience.
By volunteering your time, you can contribute directly to an event that is raising funds to provide vital services and support to the almost 1 in 2 Australians affected by cancer by the age of 85.
Key Tasks of the Position
Activations and event support – assisting with the setup, execution and pack down of all Cancer Council activities On the day ticket and merchandise sales Welcoming people to the event Providing information and directions to participants Encouraging walkers to make their way around the course and assisting with happy snap photos Event set up and pack down
