Equilus provides horse riding & related activities for people with a disability aged between three and ninety years!

Equilus is seeking volunteers to assist with 'Session Support' which includes:

Assorted activities related to care & welfare of horses such as joining the feed roster or assisting to prepare horses for session.

Volunteers are required to obtain a NDIS Workers Screening clearance and Working With Children clearance. Equilus centres can assist with completing this online and cover the associated cost.

Thursdays from 8:30am Saturdays from 8:30am

*Please note: * As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the type of insurance provided for volunteers (e.g. Voluntary Workers Personal Accident Insurance). * Best practice volunteer involvement recommends that a volunteer role should not be more than 15-16 hours per week.
