Riding for the Disabled SA provides horse riding & related activities for people with a disability aged between three and ninety years!

RDA Port Lincoln is seeking volunteers to assist with 'Session Support' on Tuesdays which includes:

  • Preparing horses prior to the arrival of participants
  • Leading horses during sessions, supporting participants during sessions
  • Assisting with preparation of activities for centre programs
  • Assorted activities related to care & welfare of horses.
  • Full training provided, no experience necessary

Also seeking Feed Roster volunteers for short 1-2 hour shifts across the week. Horse experience is required for this role.

Volunteers are required to obtain a NDIS Workers Screening clearance and Working With Children clearance. RDA centres can assist with completing this online and cover the associated cost.
