Community Events Volunteer

Fossung Multicultural and Education Services Inc. (FMAES) is a community-based not-for-profit supporting culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities across Logan, Ipswich, and surrounding areas.

We provide free education support services, digital inclusion support (access to devices, internet, and digital skills), and essential relief support to help young people and families overcome barriers and thrive.

We are seeking a Community Events Volunteer (Outreach & Engagement) to support our presence at community events.

Key Duties

• Represent FMAES at community events and stalls

• Engage with the public and share information about our services

• Promote our education programs, digital inclusion support, and essential relief services

• Distribute flyers and support participant sign-ups

• Assist with event setup and pack-down

• Friendly, confident, and approachable

• Strong communication skills

• Reliable and able to attend scheduled events
