Fossung Multicultural and Education Services Inc. (FMAES) is a community-based not-for-profit supporting culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities across Logan and Ipswich and surrounding areas.
We deliver education support, youth programs, digital inclusion initiatives, and essential assistance to families experiencing disadvantage.
About the Role
We are seeking Community Outreach Volunteers to support a range of programs and community activities. This is a flexible role, with opportunities to get involved in different areas based on your availability and interests.
What You’ll Do
You may be involved in:
- Supporting community events and outreach activities
- Engaging with families, young people, and community members
- Assisting with distribution of essential items (e.g. food, school supplies, clothing)
- Supporting youth programs, education sessions, and workshops
- Helping with setup, coordination, and pack-down
- Assisting with registrations and general program support
Who We’re Looking For
- Friendly, approachable, and culturally respectful
- Passionate about supporting communities
- Reliable and willing to help where needed
- Good communication skills
- No prior experience required
