Male Aged Care Visitor - Chat to an Engineer with Dementia

MS Plus

Logo for MS Plus

We're seeking a male volunteer to sit and chat with a gentleman living in aged care in Epping North.

Our recipient lives with early onset dementia and would benefit having a male volunteer to chat about life with.

No experience needed - You just need to be kind, reliable and comfortable befriending someone experiencing the ups and downs that can accompany the dementia and the ageing process.

Visits are flexible (typically 1 hour per week) and we ask for a commitment of at least 6 months.

If this sounds like you, get in touch - You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, get to know us, and opt out if it doesn’t feel like the right fit.

The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) brings connection and companionship to older people experiencing social isolation. ACVVS is funded by the Australian Government and delivered by MS Plus.
