For over 70 years Bethanie has been warmly welcoming older West Australians into a caring and personal environment. Our Bethanie community is enriched by the generous support of our caring volunteers.
Who we are looking for:
- interested in cooking or baking
- friendly, patient and reliable
- ability to follow instructions and food hygiene practices
- enjoying of working with other people and bring joy to others
About the role:
- assist our staff to run a weekly cooking class on Tuesday afternoons including setting up and packing away
- support residents with simple cooking or baking tasks
- encourage participation by providing gentle guidance and reassurance as needed
- support social interaction and help create an inclusive environment
