About the Role As Chair of a Special Olympics Club committee, you will support the planning, coordination and delivery of safe, inclusive and engaging sport activities for athletes. In this role, you will help ensure programs operate smoothly, meet quality standards, and reflect the needs and interests of athletes, families and volunteers. Key responsibilities include:

- Supporting the coordination and delivery of sport activities, including scheduling weekly training sessions, competitions and other participation opportunities.
- Maintaining clear, respectful and timely communication with coaches, volunteers, athletes, families/carers and Special Olympics Australia staff to support aligned planning and delivery.
- Ensuring sport activities are delivered in line with safeguarding, integrity, governance and accreditation requirements, and contributing to safe, inclusive practice across the club.
- Identifying sport development needs and opportunities, and contributing to planning that strengthens athlete experiences, skill development and progression through competition pathways.
