Fundraising Champion
About ROLDA ROLDA is an international animal welfare organisation working to rescue, rehabilitate, and protect vulnerable animals in Romania and Ukraine. Our work focuses on long-term solutions, ethical care, and sustainable change for animals in crisis.
Role Purpose Are you an experienced fundraiser who is looking for an opportunity to share your expertise with animal welfare not-for-profit and contribute to growing fundraising.?
Fundraising Champions provide occasional, task-based support to ROLDA’s fundraising work by contributing existing skills and experience. This role is designed to supplement staff capacity on clearly defined tasks, without requiring training or ongoing management from the Volunteer Coordinator and the Australian fundraising team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support discrete, clearly scoped fundraising administration tasks assigned
- Availability to attend in-frequent events to assist in fundraising efforts for ROLDA
This is a specialist role intended for volunteers who already have relevant experience and are comfortable working autonomously. No training or dedicated staff to shadow are provided, there is no responsibility for other volunteers as well as direct supervision.
Skills & Experience
- Prior experience in fundraising, nonprofit development, research, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to follow written instructions and meet deadlines independently.
- Clearly defined and time-bound tasks could include:
- Prospect research using predefined criteria
- Data review or cleanup tasks
- Corporate Partners Research
- Preparing draft lists, summaries, or background notes
- One-off administrative support for fundraising activities
Time Commitment:
- Flexible hours, with a minimum commitment of 3 hours per week.
